The Electricians Guide to Search Engine Optimisation

Until yesterday, I thought I knew quite a bit about search engine optimization.

Almost every site I have built has made it to the first page of Google but it has always taken a bit of time for Google to pick up on it and then a bit longer for it to climb to the top of the page. Meanwhile I have my clients phoning me on a daily basis saying they still can’t see their website and can I ‘phone Mr Google’ and ask him when it will be visible!

Well, we all know it isn’t as simple as calling the Google ‘hotline’ and asking to be placed first in line in front of the other 80 million pages being added each day.

But a few days ago I came across fellow Aussie Internet marketer Sean Rasmussen’s website and joined his mailing list, prompted by the offer of a free DVD.

At first I was thinking, yeah ok, another lousy marketing DVD selling me something from a so-called self-proclaiming wannabe internet marketer.

A few days later I received the DVD and promptly put it in my computer to see what this guy had to say.

Most of us Australian’s are known for our honestly (but there are always a few dodgy ones amongst us!), so I thought I’d give Sean a chance.

Sean starts off mentioning that he can show you how to get on top of Google within 90 days, even without any knowledge.
Sean also mentions before becoming an internet marketer he was a construction electrician.

Of course at this stage I had my doubts, but after a few minutes Sean comes across as being very down-to-earth with a genuine passion for internet marketing.

During the DVD presentation Sean actually tells you what the secret is to getting that top spot on Google.

Now as a web developer myself I usually do all the tricks, using WebCEO and my own knowledge to find the correct keyword density, outbound and inbound links, etc. Sean’s approach is very simple, and in one sentence he tells you what to do.

I tried it on a website yesterday, It worked. Today 3 of my websites are in the top 3 spots on Google, and due to this I had my biggest single-day profit to date with Adsense.

Sean’s technique does work.
